Could Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz Happen In The UFC In 2025?

MMA expert Brendan Schaub has revealed on his podcast that a potential Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz rematch could go down in 2025. The pair fought in the boxing ring in 2023, but could be set for a rematch under MMA rules, this time in the UFC.

Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz Rematch Could Happen In 2025

Former UFC heavyweight contender Brendan Schaub has revealed on Monday’s episode of his Thiccc Boy Podcast that Jake Paul and Nate Diaz could face each other in a rematch in 2025. Only this time, the fight will take place in an MMA cage.

Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz went down in a boxing ring in August 2023, with ‘The Problem Child’ winning a one-sided unanimous decision over the former UFC star.

Now, Brendan Schaub has revealed that the pair could reignite their rivalry once again, only this time under UFC rules in an MMA octagon. As we well know, Nate Diaz isn’t a fan of Jake Paul, and the feeling is mutual the other way too.

A fight between the pair in the boxing ring would be pointless given how convincingly the Ohio man won the first bout. However, there have now been discussions surround the possibility of the pair running it back, only this time in MMA.

Whether the fight actually happens remains to be seen, but Schaub is certainly confident it could come to fruition. The only sticking point could be in which organisation the fight happens in, with Jake Paul officially signed to the PFL and Nate Diaz of course a UFC veteran.

If Brendan Schaub is right and a rematch is on the cards, an official announcement for the potential Paul vs Diaz 2 showdown in MMA could be imminent.

Brendan Schaub: ‘July 4th or 3rd, Nate Diaz vs Jake Paul Co-Main Event’

On his Thiccc Boy Podcast, Brendan Schaub has revealed that he has insider information which points in the direction of the Nate Diaz vs Jake Paul rematch, this time under mixed martial arts rules.

Schaub’s revelation on the potential matchup seems fairly convincing, with the former UFC heavyweight seemingly confident an MMA battle between the pair of fierce rivals could take place in the summer of 2025.

“July 4th or 3rd, Nate Diaz vs Jake Paul co-main event [of International Fight Week], that’s the news – that’s what it is because Jake can do it,” Schaub revealed on his podcast.

“Nate’s not going to fight PFL – I’m with Nate on this,” Schaub said. “Why would Nate lower his standards to fight in the PFL? PFL is a s**t show, dude. Why would you go fight in the PFL?

“Nate is a UFC guy. He’s still in cahoots with UFC – he was backstage throwing water bottles. Nate isn’t going to diminish his product and fight in the PFL – that’s just a sign that it’s over. If you go to the PFL from UFC, your career is over, even if you’re fighting Jake Paul,” Schaub concluded.

Time will tell whether Brendan Schaub is right and MMA/boxing fans get to witness a Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz rematch under MMA rules next year. It seems somewhat doubtful, but stranger things have happened in fight sports!
