- Mike York, a former Rockstar Games animator, has said he “would not be shocked at all” if GTA 6 were to experience another delay.
- Pre-orders for the highly-anticipated game went live on 25 June ahead of its release on 19 November 2026.
- Responding to questions posed by Indy100 , York said: “Personally after being there and working on GTA 5 , I don't currently work there so I can't give a confidence based off that, but based on my previous experience, they could delay it again.”
- He added: “So if November comes around and they're thinking 'this final mission we have is still not looking very good and there are still a few bugs in this final mission', they'll push it six more months if they have to.”
- Pricing for the game has been confirmed at £69.99 for the Standard Edition, while gamers can also purchase the Ultimate Edition, featuring exclusive vehicles and weapons among other perks, for £89.99.
