During his maiden season with the Boston Celtics, Blake Griffin quickly endeared himself to fans. The veteran big man wasn’t afraid to put his body on the line when diving for loose balls or stepping up to take charges. However, following the expiration of his one-year contract, Griffin is again an unrestricted free agent.
The Celtics have two open roster spots and would likely prefer to add veterans to their rotation. According to CLNS Media’s Bobby Manning and longtime NBA writer Marc Stein, the Celtics reportedly have interest in bringing Griffin back.
