Could a 'creepy' and 'chilling' technology end hooliganism in Scottish football?

The absence of away fans will, or at least should, ensure there is no repeat of the crowd trouble which marred the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup quarter-final between Rangers at Celtic back in March when the two Glasgow clubs meet in the Premier Sports Cup in Govan on Sunday afternoon.

The city rivals have both agreed not to allow travelling supporters to attend any of their encounters in SPFL competitions during the 2026/27 season while the findings of SFA Independent Review into the disorder which flared are being considered.
