Costco Wholesale Club members are in for a big surprise, because one of its popular bakery items is making a comeback.
Costco is bringing back its member fave Cherry Danish, according to Eat This, Not That!
If you’re already on your way to your local Costco (COST) -) just be aware that not all stores may have these delectable treats back in stock yet, so if you don’t see it, don't worry. Just ask a Costco employee when they expect the Danish to be back in stock and they should be happy to help.

"I was happy to find cherry danish at my local Costco today. Haven't seen it in ages," wrote the Costco member.
News of the return of the Cherry Danish first appeared on Reddit and, as often happens, there is already some controversy surrounding the Danish purchases. Specifically, why members have to buy two plastic containers of the pastries and not just one.
"Do these or any of the pastries freeze well? I freeze croissants but always think the filling will change texture. But I love danishes, just can’t eat 8 of them before they’d go bad," wrote Reddit user GrandInquiry.
Molleeryan jumped in quick with a response: "I always freeze them and have never had a problem!"
Why in the world does Costco thinks its members are capable of eating two packages of these already ‘Costco-sized’ pastries? Other commenters jumped in raving about the Cheese Danish and with a request for Costco to go back to their "old" Danish recipe. Clearly not even Costco can please all its members.
Anyway, Autumn is approaching fast and the seasonal bakery items at Costco will be coming full circle — bringing back other member favorites like the Pumpkin Streusel Muffins and Pumpkin Cheesecake followed by Pumpkin Pie.
