Customers at the Costco warehouse in Avonmouth have praised staff for their quick thinking when trying to help a man who fell seriously ill in store. Staff on shift on Sunday afternoon (June 4) had to use a defibrillator, before ambulance crews arrived on scene.
In a Reddit post the following day, one customer wrote: "A man had fallen seriously ill in Costco yesterday afternoon. The staff responded amazingly and revived him with a defibrillator before he was air-lifted to hospital. Well done to the brave staff and their quick thinking. I hope the man makes a full recovery."
