Sunderland winger Jewison Bennette has been named in Costa Rica's starting XI to face Spain in their opening match in Group E of the 2022 World Cup.
The 18-year-old, who joined the Black Cats from Herediano in August, has already been capped seven times by his country.
He scored his first international goals in his previous outing, bagging a brace in Costa Rica's 2-2 draw against South Korea in September.

Costa Rica will play at their third consecutive World Cup for the first time in their history. They famously topped a group containing Uruguay, Italy and England respectively, before going onto reach the quarter-final in 2014.
Besides Bennette, ex-Sunderland left-back Bryan Oviedo is among the starters, alongside former Arsenal winger Joel Campbell and three-time UEFA Champions League winner Keylor Navas.
There is also a familiar face on Costa Rica's bench with Bryan Ruiz, formerly of Fulham, featuring in his third World Cup finals.
