Cost of living savings: Save at Sainsbury's, Iceland and The Entertainer in this week's deals

There's light at the end of the tunnel for skint parents as we count down the last few days of the Easter holidays.

This week we've got a couple of good deals if you need to refill your food cupboards, plus a couple of great savings if you want to get ahead for May half-term (sorry!) This week's deals are all correct on April 19.

1. Sainsbury's is giving new customers £15 off a minimum £60 grocery spend delivered before the end of the month. To get the discount, register at www.sainsburys.co.uk, and enter the code SCSEO22AP15 at the checkout. Your groceries must be delivered by 11.59pm on 30 April, so ensure you register and book your delivery slot in good time to get the deal. Delivery is £1 to £7 depending on the slot you choose, so you'll still save £8 even if you choose the most expensive slot.

2. Iceland is also being generous to new shoppers, with a £5 voucher off a £45 online shop. Better still, delivery is free if you're spending over £40. Again, this deal is for new online customers only and you can get it by entering the code ICEFIVEOFF. This is an ongoing offer, with no published closing date.

3. If you fancy giving Newcastle's new The Real Greek restaurant a try with the kids, wait until Sundays and they can eat free. The restaurant, in Old Eldon Square, is one of the chain's newest additions, and the offer is available at any The Real Greek restaurants. Your children will get a free kids' meal, usually £7, for each adult that spends £10, including drinks. No code is required, the promotion is automatically applied to the bill. Children must be under 12.

4. BBC Gardener's World magazine has a cracking offer in May's issue, which could save you a fortune over the coming year. If you buy the magazine, which costs £7.50, as well as getting six packets of seeds, you will also get a pass giving 2for1 entry to nearly 400 gardens throughout the UK. Gardens on our doorstep included in the offer are Alnwick Gardens (£15.95 entry), Durham University Botanioc Gardens (£4 entry) and Dilston Physic Garden, near Corbridge (entrance £6). Several National Trust and English Heritage gardens are also included, such as Gibside, near Burnopfield, (£13) and Belsay Hall (£11.20). The pass is valid until 7 April 2023, so if you're a fan of gardens, it's easy to see how some serious savings can be made.

5. If theme parks are more your thing, head for the supermarket and look for a Free Adult Ticket voucher on selected Kellogg's cereals and snacks, including family favourites such as Corn Flakes, Coco Pops and Rice Krispie Squares. For the price of the cereal or snack (70p-£3ish) you will get a Free Adult Ticket voucher for 29 UK Merlin theme parks and attractions when you buy a full-price child or adult ticket (normally up to £60). All the big ones are included, such as Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park, Legoland Windsor and the London Eye, so this could represent a massive saving for a family day out. The voucher is valid until 30 June 2023, but you will need to pre-book your tickets in advance via this special Merlin link and you must show your original on-pack voucher when you visit.

6. And finally, if you create an account with The Entertainer and register your child to Jack's Birthday Club, for their birthday you’ll receive a code for 20% off an order up to £200. You'll need to sign up at least three weeks before your child's birthday, or you won't receive the discount until the following year. The discount expires at midnight on the day of the birthday, so make sure you use it before then.
