It was announced last week that the UK would face higher energy bills once again from October.

Energy regulator Ofgem announced that the energy price cap will increase from the current £1,971 to £3,549 from October 1. The price cap is currently updated twice a year - in April and October. But now, the regulators will review the cap every January, April, July and October.

This has led to millions of people seeking help and advice on how to beat the hikes. While there are no easy answers, there is help available.
