The Manhattan skyline set the backdrop for COS's first show at New York Fashion Week.

Staged at the Starrett-Lehigh Building and above the city's bustling streets, the runway sheathed in reflective material mirrored the distinctive surrounding architecture.
The COS autumn/winter 2022 collection expresses positivity through bursts of colour in varying green, purple, pink and orange tones.
From 1970s-style leather boots and soft knit vests to 1990s minimal tailoring and grunge-style multi-layering, the mixed proportions form a laidback silhouette.
Refined tailoring offers functional yet elegant single- and double-breasted blazers matched with fluid trousers. Classic coats are presented in oversized utility-inspired styles or crafted in leather, herringbone or tweed.
Flowing dresses are in texture-rich fabrics, and a co-ordinating skirt set from the in-house atelier shimmers with 100% recycled sequins.
Sustainably-sourced materials are used for over 92% of the collection, while the materials used in the set also found a new lease of life, thanks to sustainable event management.
