It's been two years since COS made its runway debut and the H&M-owned brand has become one of the most anticipated shows of fashion month. Last season, it took its Spring 2024 collection to the Corsie Sistine in Rome. Now the brand is returning to the Big Apple.
Later on this year, COS will host its third show during New York Fashion Week on September 10, which will also be streamed live on its website. Included in the presentation will be the label's 2024 mainline and atelier collections with the show held at a secret location in Brooklyn. "New York is a dynamic city with so much character — it's a place of inspiration, full of interesting and creative people," said Karin Gustafsson, the brand's design director. "We are honored to return for our third year, bringing the collections to life on the runway at an exciting new location."
The Council of Fashion Designers of America expressed the same delight welcoming COS back to the NYFW lineup. "The brand's international presence strengthens the overall week for our designers, and their commitment to making New York City the home for their collection showcases over the years is a testament to the power and appeal of our city as a global stage for creativity and business," said the organization's Chief Executive Officer Steven Kolb.
