The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is here, and eager buyers are already flocking to place their orders. So far, Chevy has built nearly 2,700 Grand Sport models, and there's a clear favorite for the most popular color.
According to data collected by CorvetteBlogger, of the 2,652 Grand Sports built so far, nearly 32 percent wear Admiral Blue paint. That's 837 hand-raisers for the sharp blue hue. It's no surprise that the otherwise boring options of White, Black, and Gray follow closely behind. Come on, people, have some fun!

Droptop Or Coupe?
In terms of the coupe-versus-convertible split, buyers are running fairly even, with 54.8 percent of Grand Sports ordered in coupe form. The better news for Chevrolet, however, is that most buyers step up to the top-spec 3LT trim, and a fair amount of folks also get the Z52 Performance Package.
A handful of heroes have spec'd the Z52 Track Performance package, which upgrades the Grand Sport to carbon-ceramic brakes, Michelin Cup 2 R tires, and adds the carbon-fiber aero package.
The real smart buyers, however, are the few kings and queens who have checked the box for Roswell Green. That's the least popular color, with just 50 cars ordered so far. You spec that color with the Natural tan interior, and you've got a true stunner of a Grand Sport on your hands.
Motor1's Take: Really, though, no matter how you spec that car, you have a beast of a machine on your hands. The non-X Grand Sport delivers 535 horsepower and 520 pound-feet of torque from a massive 6.7-liter LS6 V8. Jump to the Grand Sport X, and now there's 721 hp on tap. A machine like that certainly deserves a more interesting paint choice than white, black, or gray.
