Corsock youngster Siena Laurie has also taken on a charity skipping challenge.
And the seven-year-old is thrilled to have exceeded her fundraising target of £150.
Siena took part in Cancer Research UK’s skipping challenge, aiming to skip 100 times each day in February.
And when she completed her task on Monday, she had £260 in donations with more to come.
Proud mum, Cat, said: “A few people said they would wait until the end before donating so we’re hoping to double her target.
“She has been taking her skipping rope wherever she goes as she’s been trying to do them in different places.
“We went to York for a night and to Manchester and she did it there, she’s done it at the park, at school, at the swimming pool and while going for a walk – she has even done it in a waterfall.
