Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson put on a plunging yet stylish display as she headed out to an event in Manchester. The actress, who is known for playing Nicky Wheatley in the ITV soap, smiled for the cameras as she was snapped in the city.
The actress looked stunning as she arrived at the Biorepeel Event at Italian restaurant San Carlo wearing a khaki green jumpsuit that was sinched at the waist with a belt and featured a deep neckline.
Kimberly paired the outfit with a pair of nude heels and a matching trench coat which had 'Pretty Little Thing' emblazoned on the back as she made her way inside the luxury venue.
The soap star, who wore her long blonde locks in a half-up half-down style, smiled for the cameras and was joined by model Apollonia Lewellyn at the do.
Kimberly's public appearance comes after she shared some exciting news with her fans. Away from playing former sex worker Nicky on the cobbles, Kimberly is a businesswoman having set up fashion company, Hart-Work, in 2018 with all the items for sale being handmade by the soap star herself.
Kimberly explains on the site how she got into making clothes. She said: "Working as a professional actor for over a decade, I picked up a sewing machine in 2018 when work was dry, but my creative mind wasn’t! Hours of YouTube videos and a couple of dodgy garms later, I discover I had the patience and steady hand to create. Fortunate enough to get my work on the red carpet at The Soap Awards 2018 I knew I had given birth to a new obsession; Hart-Work!"
She regularly wows her social media followers with her latest handy work, regularly picking up items from the charity shop and bringing them back to life as brand new pieces. Late last month the actress turned up the heat as she showcased a new look away from the famous cobbles.
She looked a far cry from her on-screen character as she sparkled in a dazzling multi-coloured mini dress for a set of sun-soaked photos while holidaying in Ibiza. And she revealed that the designer dress was a bargain charity shop purchase hat she had snapped up for £18 from the British Heart Foundation.
Taking to Instagram earlier this week, Kimberly shared a post from her 'Hart Work' Instagram page and revealed that people will soon be able to grab her designs on the high-street.
She wrote: "All confirmed - my brand @hartwork._ will be launching @urbanoutfitters 20th May in Manchester Branch." Kimberly then added: "Grateful for every bit of support thus far. The movement continues..."
Kimberly first appeared in the ITV soap in June 2020 when she met recently widowed Daniel Osbourne. After a brief time in Weatherfield, she returned to our screens last month as Nicky. The character told her ex Daniel Osbourne, played by Rob Mallard, that she wanted to make a new start as a teaching assistant working alongside him at Weatherfield High.
Not only was her arrival met with jealousy from Daniel's new love Daisy Midgeley, but she has also now lost her job at the high school after scheming pupil Max Turner found and leaked images and videos of Nicky from her past.
