Coronation Street sees a dramatic return to the cobbles as this week is set for a raft of twists and turns on the ITV soap.
This week in Weatherfield sees the much-anticipated return of Spider Nugent (Martin Hancock) as Toyah Batterbsy continues to wrestle with the enormous changes in her life.
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) takes revenge on evil surgeon Dr Thorne, while Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) makes a harrowing discovery that puts her political future in doubt.
Here is everything Coronation Street fans can look forward to this week on the ITV soap…
Toyah struggles to cope - as Spider's back
Toyah goes back to work at Underworld this week, in an effort to start repaying her stepsister Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) for her legal bills.
However, Toyah struggles with adjusting and ends up snapping at customers on the phone.
Meanwhile, Jo Lafoe warns Sarah Barlow (Tina O'Brien) that it's not a good look to employ someone on a murder charge.
As a distraction, Toyah begins a protest against waste incineration as she struggles with Leanne's lack of faith in her.
As Leanne insists on helping Toyah with her plans, she invites her to the protest and the group manage to block the council bin wagon, before Toyah leaps into the cab of the wagon.
Then, she’s in for a shock as a man suddenly jumps into the vehicle next to Toyah: her ex-boyfriend Spider.
Toyah is floored by the surprise arrival and the pair soon start catching up and even reminiscing about the good old days.
Toyah then breaks down as she talks about Imran and invites Spider to stay over.
Stephen leaves Audrey with an ultimatum
Elsewhere on the ITV soap, Stephen Reid apologises to Gail Platt for blaming her over Audrey Robert's motorbike accident at the barbers.
He focuses his efforts on trying to play peacemaker between Gail and Audrey, warning Audrey that if she doesn't end her feud with Gail, he will be on the first plane home.
Later, Stephen thanks Elaine Jones for helping to rescue Audrey – and there seems to be a spark of attraction between the pair.
Peter in nasty punch-up with evil surgeon
Corrie cabbie Peter has turned his life around after overcoming his addiction battle with alcohol, but the evil surgeon has been testing his patience on the soap lately.
The bad blood between Peter and Dr Thorne reaches a fever-pitch on the soap next week as the doctor bribes him with an offer of £100,000.
But then in later scenes the two men bump into each other at the pub and all bets are off as Dr Thorne orders Peter not to undo all of his skilled work.
Peter’s rage bubbles over and he angrily confronts the surgeon, hauling him up against the hood of his car.
Maria trolled with vile sex video
Maria Connor faces horrific online abuse next week on the cobbles, which even pushes her into debating her entire political career.
The local councillor (Samia Longchambon) questions her future in the public eye after she’s targeted in an online campaign that initially seems fun but later turns darker.
Liam gets into a fight at school and Maria soon learns it’s because a viral video is doing the rounds, one which leaves Maria horrified.
In the video, someone has placed her head onto a naked woman, making it look like she’s in a porn film.
Gary Windass (Mikey North) feels terrible and in later scenes, Maria decides to seek help from the police as she's now receiving threats.
Maria decides that her family is under too much pressure and she vows that her council position isn't worth the strife it’s putting their family through.
Maria's former rival Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) is shocked to hear that she may quit and urges Maria not to be swayed.
Sean cuts ties with Frank as he shows his angry side
George confides in Todd about how Frank once flushed his head down the toilet as a punishment for accidentally spilling water over him.
Determined to expose Frank's bullying ways, Todd "accidentally" spills a drink down Frank's shirt.
But in later scenes, George is alarmed to hear Frank threatening someone over the phone.
He decides that it's finally time to tell Sean how Frank made his life a misery when he was at school.
Sean confronts Frank, who insists that he has changed. Sean isn't convinced and ends things with Frank.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV.
