While Abi hurries out, explaining the baby is having an operation, she is left stunned when Kevin later appears at the hospital. As Abi waits for news about the newborn, Kevin walks down the hospital corridor and takes his estranged wife in his arms as Abi breaks down.
Kevin assumes the baby is the result of her one night stand with Tez and Abi goes along with the lie.
The nurse then confirms that Alfie’s operation went well and Kevin offers to let her stay at No 13 until she’s won custody, giving Abi hope.
Lydia rumbled?
