Coronation Street’s Amy Barlow will be forced to choose between her new bad boy love interest Jacob Hay and her family on the soap after her dad and boyfriend came to blows.
Amy (Elle Mulvaney) had been keeping her relationship with former drug dealer Jacob (Jack James Ryan) a secret, knowing her family would disapprove, but when Amy was spiked during a night out, Jacob was forced to spill the beans.
While Jacob was initially accused of slipping something in Amy’s drink, it was later revealed he had potentially saved his girlfriend’s life by quickly putting her in the recovery position.
