Corrie star Tina O'Brien has played soap favourite Sarah Barlow, nee Platt, on the famous cobbles since 1999 and has seen many explosive row on the street over the years. The star was in a nostalgic mood as she celebrated Christmas by sharing a clip from one of the show's most dramatic festive showdowns.
She posted video of the tense Christmas dinner with Sarah, brother David, mum Gail, gran Audrey, neighbours Sally and Kevin Webster and his dad Bill and daughters Rosie and Sophie at number 8 back in 2006. Over dinner, trouble-causer David presented mum Gail with his late gran Ivy Tilsly's diary and read out an entry about Gail wanting to have an abortion when she was pregnant with him.
Gail, played by Helen Worth, looked devastated as her son shared the revelation as their guests squirmed in horror. "David Platt Christmas wrecker since 2006." wrote Tina, 39, as she posted the moment on her Instagram Stories, tagging in the soap, co-star Jack P Shephard, Helen Flanagan who plays Rosie and Brooke Vincent who plays Sophie.

Tina then pointed out a similarity between herself and her character, who has gone on to become manager at the iconic Underworld factory. "Me and Sarah have one thing in common," she said.
"Both can't keep a Christmas hat on without it slipping down." The scene featured Sarah donning a gold festive crown over red antlers.
This Christmas saw a double helping of romance on the cobbles as Tyrone Dobbs and Fiz Stape finally tied the knot after she briefly married Phill Whittaker before realising her feelings for her ex. And Daniel Osbourne popped the question to girlfriend Daisy Midgeley following her recent breast cancer scare.
But the peace and harmony didn't last for long when, on Boxing Day, spotted racist Griff being pally with his son Max at the Christmas market. Losing his temper, he tried to drag Max away, but telling David he hates him, Max announced that he’s moving in with Griff.
Elsewhere, newly engaged Daniel and Daisy were divided over her use of social media. Amy showed Daniel one of Daisy’s posts raising breast cancer awareness and pointed out that it can do good.
