Coronation Street is lining up some worrying scenes for fan favourite Tim Metcalfe on the ITV soap next week.
The character ignores an important health warning, resulting in a shock collapse.
An ambulance is called as his wife Sally Metcalfe panics over his condition, when the character falls ill while they're getting intimate - having taken some pills.
The character has been suffering from impotence, ever since a major health scare weeks ago that left him needing life-saving surgery.
Tim underwent a triple heart bypass after being diagnosed with a heart condition, having suffered a heart attack earlier in the year.
In the fallout, Tim has been embarrassed after struggling with impotence, with Sally keen to get to the bottom of his issues in the bedroom.
He lies to his wife in upcoming scenes that he will see the doctor, but instead he decides to purchase some erectile dysfunction tablets from the internet.
Tim completely ignores the warning about heart conditions, despite knowing how serious his condition is.
So when he takes the tablets and gets intimate with Sally during their romantic trip away, he's forced to admit the truth to her when he becomes breathless.
With his heart pounding and him feeling short of breath and unwell, he tells her what he's done and she's horrified.
In a panic, she calls an ambulance but will Tim be alright?
It seems so as later in the week, a misunderstanding leads to a showdown with Ronnie Bailey.
When Tim hears Ronnie telling Sally that he’s sorry her romantic getaway was such a flop, he leaps to the wrong conclusion.
Tim punches Ronnie in the face, but how will he react?
