Corrie's Stephen 'strikes again' as he prepares to murder next victim after drug drama

Coronation Street killer Stephen Reid could murder his third victim next week, amid him drugging Carla Connor.

He could be forced to cover his tracks once more as someone threatens to expose his wicked behaviour and his recent lies.

Spoilers for next week see Stephen about to attack a character with the same weapon he used earlier this year, when he murdered Teddy Thompkins.

If he does strike again, it will be his third kill after he murdered Teddy's son Leo back in September.

Stephen has been getting LSD from businessman Rufus recently in a blackmail scheme, after an incident that saw the newcomer caught with a sex worker.

He blackmailed him into giving him the drug, wanting to use it to drug Underworld owner Carla amid their feud of sorts.

Rufus had been a possible client for the business and was keen on some of the designs made behind Carla's back.

He revealed he was eager to go into business with the factory after some persuasion from Stephen.

But when Carla found out she told Rufus what had been going on and that Stephen was in no way in charge of the company.

Rufus backed out of the deal and Stephen was furious, leading to him heading to his hotel room with the contract in a bid to persuade him.

The rest is history, and Stephen has been calling Rufus for more LSD for weeks and has been drugging Carla the whole time, leading to dark scenes this week.

Rufus gets the upper hand next week though, and spoilers reveal he isn't happy that Stephen is about to sell the new line to an American company.

Wanting sole rights to the brand, Rufus threatens Stephen and tells him if he doesn't play ball he will reveal to everyone that he has been drugging Carla.

Realising what is at risk, Stephen looks prepared to kill again when Rufus has his back turned.

Approaching him from behind, Stephen wields the hole punch and prepares to attack him - but will he go through with another crime?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
