Jude Riordan has become a firm favourite with Corrie fans since he arrived in Weatherfield as Sam Blakeman in 2020. He was introduced as the secret son of Nick Tilsley and his ex Natasha Blakeman..
The 10-year-old character has been through tragedy recently with the heartbreaking loss of his mum in October after she was gunned down in a case of mistaken identity by gangster Harvey Gaskell who thought she was Leanne Battersby. The character became mute through his grief.
But recently he has been drawn out of his shell by playing chess with cafe owner Roy Cropper. And he appears to be sweet on his young chess opponent Jalena, played by child model and actress Kyrah Wallace.
