Like any great soap, Coronation Street gives ITV viewers the highs and lows of life, with plenty of drama and laughs to keep fans watching for decade after decade.
But while the gags are usually written into the script, occasionally eagle-eyed soap fans can spot something which may be unintentionally hilarious.
Nothing gets past die hard Corrie fans, from a hospital blunder as Abi welcomed baby Alfie into the world to the “worst” e-fit viewers had ever seen touted by copper Craig to a travel fail as Chesney made the airport dash for little Joseph.
Here are the best Coronation Street blunders on the soap in the past few months…
Craig Tinker’s hysterical police e-fit
As Faye Windass confessed all about her hit and run to boyfriend Craig Tinker, viewers were treated to repeated looks at an e-fit compiled by the police.
Pensioner Ted was knocked over by Faye and later died after the accident, only for boyfriend Craig to begin digging into the case.
Faye tried to act normal as Craig mentioned the ongoing investigation and then pulled out his phone to show Faye the e-fit, leaving Corrie viewers in stitches at the picture.
One person posted: “Absolutely screaming at that E fit.”
Another tweeted: “If that’s the e fit god help the Weatherfield police that’s an insult to Emma that drawing.”
Someone else wrote: “Whatever Craig.. You’re full of it! That’s the worst EFIT I’ve ever seen!”
Even This Morning ’s Phillip Schofield mocked the police e-fit as the “worst he's ever seen” during an instalment of the daytime programme.
On showing the e-fit, Phillip was baffled and amused, as he realised the e-fit looked nothing like the character it was meant to.
Epic travel fail as Chesney makes airport dash
Coronation Street’s Joseph Brown briefly parted ways with his dad Chesney for a new life in Portugal with his gran, only for Chesney to make a mad dash to the airport.
Chesney was forced to part with Joseph after accepting he could have a better upbringing in the warmer climes, but as an emotional group gathered on the cobbles to wave Joseph and Linda off in their taxi, eagle-eared fans spotted a major travel blunder.
Chesney hugged son Joseph with tears in his eyes, before Bernie assured Joseph his Uncle Paul would contact him at 7pm "your time" - but several viewers took to Twitter to note that there is no time difference between the UK and Portugal.
Abi's string of birth blunders
This month viewers saw Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) struggle with the early surprise arrival of a son, as she grappled with a drug relapse.
In dramatic scenes, Abi gave birth at six months pregnant sitting up in bed with her legs crossed, leaving viewers stunned at the "unrealistic scenes".
One took to Twitter, saying: "There’s no way Abi could have given birth whilst sitting up leaning forward like that?!
While another mused: "Blimey, I've had 3 kids but never sitting up legs crossed!"
When Abi ended up in hospital again after crashing a car just hours after giving birth to a baby boy, Toyah Battersby rushed to the local hospital.
Toyah was shocked when doctors heard him mention a “placenta” and realised Abi had had a baby.
At that exact moment, Aggie Bailey walked past and Toyah was quick to ask her if it was true.
Aggie looked annoyed that the nurse had divulged such private information - and so were viewers watching at home.
Taking to Twitter, one person posted: “Hospitals give out information to anyone now so they? Funny that Aggie happened to mysteriously appear!”
Another person commented: “These doctors have no patient confidentiality at all, blurting out that she’s had a baby.”
Sarah Platt reveals all
Coronation Street fans were left frustrated after Sarah Barlow made a blunder amid Lydia's scheming.
As Adam explained he wouldn't be able to make their plans, fans spotted Sarah's error in the factory, as she had her phone on speaker.
Lydia discussed her and Adam's Valentine’s Day plans and exactly where he was staying - down to the room number.
“Sarah! Why put private convo with your hubby on loudspeaker in an open space especially with the psycho around,” one fan wrote, as a second added: “Sarah has Adam on speakerphone. How convenient as Lydia walks in…”
Major mishap as 'bunny boiler' Lydia pushes Adam in death plunge
Most recently on the ITV soap, fans spotted a soap set mishap as Adam Barlow and Lydia Chambers had a dramatic showdown after weeks of sinister and targeted harassment.
But Lydia (Rebecca Ryan) took her revenge one step too far when Adam (Sam Robertson) managed to arrange a meeting with her.
The pair met for a fateful showdown at a local shopping centre, where Lydia finally revealed what happened between them at university, detailing Adam's infidelity as well as an abortion she was forced to seek out when she became pregnant.
But as the pair went back and forth pointing fingers, many Coronation Street fans were distracted by their eerily quiet surroundings in the Weatherfield shopping centre.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "That’s a very empty shopping centre. Not one security guard. Just Lydia, Adam and a bunny in a pot that Lydia drags around with her every day!"
Another wrote: "Seriously, not one person in this shopping centre, no wonder the high street stores are disappearing."
Corrie fans round on 'hypocrite' Kevin
Coronation Street viewers were fuming with Kevin Webster when he found out about wife Abi's infidelity by accidentally overhearing a conversation with his ex-wife Sally as her phone was connected to the stereo in his van.
As Abi begged him to take her back so that they could start afresh, Kevin refused and threw her out - only for fans to label him a "hypocrite" as he cheated on his ex-wife Sally in the past, and also made a promise to Abi a few months ago.
Abi and Kevin were on the rocks just days before their wedding last year around the time she had the one night stand with Imran.
But Kevin managed to persuade her to walk down the aisle and promised that anything that had happened before didn't count and that they were wiping the slate clean.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “When they got back together & Kevin begged Abi to stay, he said anything that happened before didn’t count, that they were starting afresh. Have the writers forgotten?
“Him & Sal are both total hypocrite's judging Abi. She was grieving what was their excuse for cheating?”
