Coronation Street's Ryan Connor will expose Daisy Midgeley over their kiss after finding out about Crystal.
Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) was trying to reassure Ryan (Ryan Prescott) that he was still loved by Crystal, but really she had said she wanted nothing to do with him. Furious that it might set back his recovery, she pretended to be Crystal and found herself falling deeper in the lie and struggling to end it, despite Daniel Osbourne's ( Rob Mallard ) reservations.
The pair were bonded together following the horrifying acid attack, where Justin ended up scarring Ryan when he tried to throw acid over Daisy. He admitted at the time he had done it so Daisy wouldn't be wanted by anyone else but him.
Next week on the ITV soap, Daniel heads to the flat to see Ryan after hearing from Carla that he is struggling. He asks him why he's not seeing Daisy anymore, when the pair were such good friends before, but Ryan doesn't say about the kiss and tells Daniel he has been in a dark place since he found out that someone had been catfishing him and pretending to be Crystal.
Daniel, none the wiser about the kiss, encourages her to pay Ryan a visit but she is guilt ridden. As he admits he really missed her, he leans in for a kiss and she reciprocates, just as Carla walks in and is left stunned to see the scenes unfolding in front of her.
A brooding Ryan works out that Daisy must have been the catfisher pretending to be Crystal and he's horrified. Daisy, meanwhile, tries to explain herself and she was just trying to protect his feelings. Ryan is devastated and throws her out.
Daisy tries to plead with him, explaining again why she did it but he isn't having it and threatens to tell Daniel knew about their kisses.
Actress Charlotte Jordan has teased Daisy is feeling "overwhelmed" by her feelings amid the love triangle.
Speaking about if she regrets the kiss, she said: "She does and she doesn’t. She does regret it because obviously she does love Daniel; she’s committed to him and she sees a future with him because they are still planning on getting married.
"But she is just really overwhelmed by these feelings that she has caught really quickly for Ryan so she’s just confused at the moment."
Daisy has developed quite an "obsession" with Ryan since the horrifying attack.
Charlotte added: "Yes and rightly so because he has said, 'Let’s just put some space between us, the lines are getting really blurred here.' But she has this obsession with Ryan now and she can’t stay away for very long, it’s like she needs to know what he’s okay for her to be okay. It’s all stemming from the fact that she is avoiding dealing with her own trauma."
