Coronation Street's Adam Barlow will hit rock bottom next week, as Lydia Chambers continues to destroy his life on the ITV soap.
New Corrie spoilers reveal after ruining his marriage, leaving him in trouble with the police and vowing to ruin his life, Lydia targets his job.
Recent scenes have shown Lydia finally confessing to ex Adam that she was targeting him, and next week she steps it up.
The pair briefly dated, according to Adam, when they were at university together a decade ago.
But Lydia hinted that there was much more to their relationship, and that they were more serious than Adam recalled.
Lydia also majorly hinted something dark happened during or after their romance, as she talked of him "messing up her life".
She told him he "dismantled her piece by piece" and vowed to do the same to him, while telling his wife Sarah that "she was free" after splitting them up.
In the fallout, Adam is left struggling to prove his innocence, and now has the police on his case after an incident at Lydia's flat.
After heading there to sort things out in upcoming scenes, Lydia trashes the place and pins it on Adam - calling the police in the meantime.
He's left having to try and convince them that Lydia did it herself and that he in no way threatened her, with him soon questioned over the ongoing drama.
Next week, he takes the moment to bring up the harassment and the other moments where he has been framed, from credit card transactions to the texts from a secret phone.
Meanwhile, Lydia is too busy trying to maintain her story to care as she tells Sarah about Adam apparently forcing his way in and trashing the place.
Sarah is horrified, and seemingly still believes her over her own husband despite his protests.
Whether Adam can convince the police he is innocent of the latest crime remains to be told, but he's soon faced with fresh horror.
Adam explains the entire situation to his colleague and friend Imran Habeeb, but a huge client soon decides to take their business elsewhere after seeing the recent comments trashing him as a solicitor.
The damning online reviews puts Imran in a difficult situation, which only gets worse when Adam finds out he has been reported to the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Realising he could get struck off and lose his job on top of everything else, he decides to step down from the company until everything is sorted out.
This might not happen though, as amid his bid to clear his name evil Lydia tells him she hasn't finished with him yet.
So what else has she got up her sleeve, and will Adam find a way to prove what she is up to?
