Coronation Street's Stephen Reid will be exposed for killing Leo Thompkins after an incriminating error, according to viewers, amid speculation he will strike again.
Stephen accidentally killed Leo during a violent showdown on Monday night, pushing him from a height after whacking his head against a metal bar.
Leo plunged from the factory gantry and landed in a huge bin, but he was killed during the assault.
He had finally worked out Stephen's sick plan for his mother Audrey, and that his money woes were a lot worse than he thought.
He found out Stephen was trying to value his mother's property and get her to sell, so that he could steal the equity and pay back his ex Gabrielle, whose company he stole money from before he fled.
As she confronted him and threatened to go to the police in the latest episode, Stephen revealed his plan to sell Audrey's home and get the money for Gabrielle.
Leo, who had just learned of Stephen's lies to the estate agent about Audrey's health and the incident with the house, heard every word.
As Leo threatened to call Audrey and then the police, to expose Stephen, Stephen saw red and attacked him, before shoving him off the platform.
Realising he had killed Leo, Stephen did not raise the alarm and later on he removed his body from the bin, planning to dispose of it and cover his tracks.
Now, viewers believe Stephen's cover-up won't work and that he will be caught out after appearing to miss crucial evidence.
After CCTV at the factory was mentioned, viewers weren't sure if there was camera behind the factory or not.
That said, many viewers speculated there were cameras and that they might have recorded Leo's murder.
Fans are now convinced Carla Connor will watch back the footage, and see the moment Stephen killed Leo - and that this will be his downfall.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "We already know there is CCTV," as a second said: "Isn’t this all going to be recorded on Carla’s cctv?"
A third said: "What about CCTV #Stephen ?? I wonder will something of #Leo be found in the #Underworld van!!"
Another commented: "Don't forget the #CCTV that #Carla & the #Police mentioned earlier," as a fifth tweeted: "Has he forgotten the CCTV."
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
