Coronation Street fans were left fearing the worst on Wednesday as Audrey Roberts was left in a perilous position after a horror motorbike accident on the ITV soap.
The Cobbles legend, played by Sue Nicholls, was left crying out for help after stumbling into the motorbike, which then collapsed on her.
Audrey has been enjoying trips to the Rovers Return recently, and when Rita found her in the Rovers enjoying her first drink of the day, she tried to encourage her back to work.
David Platt was less than impressed that his nan had decided to come back to work, but she soon created even more upset when she opened a bottle of wine and began to flirt up a storm with Ryan, who was booked in to have a cut.
As David told Audrey to go home, she tried to grab her coat but ended up tripping on the elephant ornament in the salon and fell to the floor.
Maria tried to encourage her to go home, but at a loose end, Gail then came to try and talk some sense into Audrey.
But as chats turned to her drinking, an angry Audrey said she had decided to move back home immediately.
The situation then took a frightening turn in the barbers, when Audrey staggered into a motorbike, causing it to fall and knock her over.
The Corrie legend was left lying on the floor in desperate need of help, but with nobody around to hear her - but many fans focused on the moment earlier, which saw Audrey's family dish about her drinking problem over a round in the Rovers.
Corrie fans were left stunned by the shocking scenes and took to Twitter at the end of the episode on Wednesday to slam the Platts for the 'hypocritical' moment.
One wrote: "The Platts talking about Audrey drinking while they're drinking the hypocrites..."
Another chimed: "What makes me laugh is David, Gail and Sarah are having a go at Audrey’s drinking yet discussing it over drinks in the pub."
A third wrote: "Having a drink talking about Audrey being drunk lol."
"Audrey’s depressed, but having such a mess of a family, can't blame her," another wrote.

ITV spoilers have revealed that the drama picks up at the end of the week on Friday, when Audrey is seen lying in the barbers – having been there all night.
But soon Brian and Elaine, who are passing by, hear a weak cry coming from the barbers and rush to get some help.
Then Audrey’s son Stephen appears in a taxi and immediately breaks down the door, worried for his mum, who he finds lying barely conscious on the floor of the barbers.
The Platts, meanwhile, are having a meeting about what to do about Audrey, chatting to Peter Barlow and asking his advice on how to help the family's matriarch through her drink problem.
As Brian tells them Audrey isn't well and an ambulance is called, they all rush out to see what happened – but they're met by an angry Stephen who isn't happy that no one noticed she had been gone all night.
He jumps into the ambulance to go to the hospital with Audrey, leaving Gail feeling extremely guilty. But will Audrey be ok and if she does make it through, will this be the wake up call she so desperately needs?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV.
