Coronation Street fans are convinced they've worked out the identity of Daisy Midgley's 'stalker'.
Eagle eyed viewers of the ITV soap have noticed Daisy is regularly getting comments and messages from someone on social media who calls themselves the 'Charming Man'. They are now fearful this 'friendly face' will soon turn into a stalker for her and that will no doubt cause trouble for Daisy and her husband to be Daniel going forward.
Fans are also sure they've worked out who might be 'stalking' her - and the person has already arrived on the Cobbles, with viewers fearful for the barmaid's safety as they predicted the possible upcoming storyline.
Taking to Reddit, fans of the ITV soap are sure Daisy will be involved in a horrifying stalker plot soon, and they know who is behind it.
"Anyone else notice the username ‘This Charming Man’ on Daisy’s social media? I wonder if this is the beginning of a storyline about an online stalker for Daisy," one wrote, whilst another added: "I think the stalker is the same person who burgled the Barlows!"
They are sure the person who's stalking Daisy is the one who met her before her cancer appointment recently. The pair bonded over her fears, as the unknown man revealed his mother was battling cancer.
"It’ll be the guy who sat with her at the hospital and he’ll have her engagement ring too!" one wrote, as another shared: "Yeah, I reckon it’s that cute Scottish bloke who sat next to her at the hospital while he waited for his mam the other day."
Another replied: "Cute? I definitely got stalker vibes!”
"Latest #Corrie prediction Daisy has a stalker and it’s the guy whose mother ‘had cancer’ she met in the hospital," one penned, with a second adding: "That’s the bloke from the hospital sending those posts to Daisy, right?"
One shared: "Daisy’s going to be stalked by whoever Charming Man is, probably him from the hospital."
Daisy's mother is soon set to show up on the Cobbles, but actress Charlotte Jordan insists the characters don't have a great relationship, adding: "It's just very fractured and distant. She hasn't really had a relationship with her since she was extremely young. There have been so many years. And because she's 26, now it's not something where she's just like this ball of anger.
"Instead, it's something where Daisy has just accepted that this is the relationship and actually her mother is just more of a nuisance. She sort of just pops up every now and then and doesn't really give Daisy much; she always tends to want something from her and then just clears off. [Daisy and Daniel] have both got abandonment issues, parent-wise.
"Like they've got meaningful things that will keep them together, that they can understand about each other."
