Coronation Street fans were feeling frustrated with Toyah Battersby on Friday evening as Abi Franklin met her newborn baby properly for the first time.
The latest instalment of the ITV soap saw Abi (Sally Carman) meeting with her drug dealer again as she planned to get high and forget reality.
However unbeknownst to Abi, she was being watched by Toyah (Georgia Taylor) who followed her home and barged in just as Abi was about to start taking the drugs.
As the pair exchanged tense words, a social worker could be heard knocking on the front door - and Toyah decided to let her in.
The social worker informed Abi that her newborn son was unwell in hospital and that they needed her to go there straight away.
Feeling guilty about not being there for her boy, Abi broke down in the waiting room and admitted to Toyah that she did want to meet her child.
In highly emotional scenes, Abi stood by the incubator and watched her baby boy - who was attached to various wires and machines.
"Hiya kiddo, I'm your Mummy. It's really, really nice to meet you," she said as she leant over the incubator and Toyah watched her from outside.
As the doctors ran more tests on the baby, Abi confided in Toyah outside - but she was having none of her sob story and told her she needs to change her priorities now.
However, viewers were not impressed with Toyah's harsh words and took to Twitter to comment.
One person posted: "Right Saint Toyah is starting to get right on my nerves now #corrie."
Another tweeted: "Toyah loves sticking her nose in everyones business and tries to control them she is awful #Corrie."
Someone else wrote: "#Corrie Can Abi not talk to the nurse herself Toyah? Stop interfering!"
A different viewer added: "#Corrie Oh shut up Toyah you patronising irritating bint."
Another person fumed: "What gives Toyah the right to tell Abby what to do? Toyah passed somebody else's baby off as her own #corrie."
Toyah is unaware of the fact that Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) had a one-night-stand with Abi late last year and that the baby could actually be his.
Many viewers have predicted that it's only a matter of time until Toyah finds out the truth.
