Coronation Street and Emmerdale actress Denise Black has revealed that she was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a horrific accident. The 65-year-old underwent emergency surgery aftger breaking her arm and foot in a fall.
Denise, who played Ken Barlow’s lover Denise Osbourne in Corrie also said that when she fell she dropped a heavy item on her foot, breaking it. Denise said she was doing well in a light hearted post which thanked the NHS for her treatment, the Mirror reported.
Denise, 65, who also appeared in the Sherlock Holmes series with Jeremy Brett, said: “Now I’m mending I can tell you. I broke my wonky arm. As I fell I dropped what I was carrying which broke my foot. Know Hoffnung’s Bricklayers joke? Google it. I am that joke.”
