Coronation Street star Dolly-Rose Campbell has teased a key moment during Gemma Winter and Chesney Brown's wedding that she hopes viewers will get to see. The actress has been chatting about her upcoming big moment, saying it as 'honour' to play a Corrie bride.
Dolly, who joined the ITV soap as Gemma back in 2014, has previously earned praise for showing her signing skills on-screen. She's shared how she learnt British Sign Language in order to help the young deaf actor, Joseph, who plays one of her on-screen children, Aled.
"For me, we were going to have a deaf actor on set as part of our family and he can't learn not to be deaf so it made sense for me or Sam [Aston] or Jane [Hazlegrove] to learn to sign so that we can help him when he needs help," she told the Manchester Evening News and other press when asked why she decided to learn personally to sign.

"The actor that we've got, his parents are also deaf so it's nice to be able to sit and talk to them when they bring him in for filming and just make them feel included," she added.
And there's a moment in the wedding, set to air next week, that another cast member also uses her sign language skills. The show had an interpreter at the wedding who will feature in scenes, and in one such scene they're shown signing with another character.
Speaking about the special moment, Dolly translated the signing that takes place and gave hints of when it could air. "So I don't know if it will be caught in the wedding. Cherylee Houston [who plays Izzy Armstrong] can sign as well," she explained to us.
"So she was signing with the interpreter in the background, and when I looked over she was telling the interpreter that she had been dyeing the [wedding] dress in her bath, and it dyed her bath. I don't know if the whole conversation will be seen, and you'd have to know [some sign language] to be able to catch it."
It came as Gemma's wedding dress was unveiled for the first time in a set of new pictures. One thing that is for certain when it comes tot he soap wedding is that all eyes will be on Gemma as she walks down the aisle in what could be the most extravagant wedding dress Weatherfield has ever seen.
In first-look pictures, Gemma can be seen sporting the impressive two-metre wide dress, with a stunning seven-metre long train and complete with fairy lights, alongside her groom, whose suit has been bought by his son Joseph's grandmother, Linda.
The kebab shop worker, played by Sam Aston, looks dapper in the navy three-piece which has been worn over a crisp white shirt and is complete with a matching silk orange tie and pocket square. The loved-up couple are also seen alongside their children with Joseph wearing the same as his father.

But back to Gemma's dress and on screen, the mum-of-four has bought a charity shop dress which has been dyed and customised by her pal, seamstress Izzy, played by Cherylee. However, in reality, the huge jaw-dropping orange wedding gown has been co-designed and made by drag queen and fashion designer Liquorice Black.
