He made his TV debut on the cobbles back in September as new face of David Platt' stepson Max Turner.
But actor Paddy Bever's life off-screen is worlds away from the troubled teen's who has had a turbulent nine months what with a horror fall, the prospect of a prison stint and slicing his leg on smashed glass in Coronation Street.
Paddy, 19, took on the role from Harry McDermott, who played Max from 2010 onwards but left the soap to carry on with his acting studies and to see what other opportunities were available.
Here Mirror Online takes a look at Paddy's first major acting role and the drama that has unfolded in Weatherfield.
Paddy landed the job, having found a passion for the arts as a member of Cheadle Hulme Players Youth Theatre before going onto join the Manchester School of Acting.
It has been a busy few months for Paddy as from the beginning Max appeared back when his dad Callum Logan was killed, meaning he had to go and live with David.
Max didn't start on great terms as he accused Daniel Osbourne of grooming Summer Spellman while drunk at the school's winter ball.
Then fast forward to February, Max suffered a bad fall when Daniel found him after trying to trash his flat.
The two of then decided to keep each other's secrets after a drink was spiked by Max that was meant for Daniel to drink but then Amy Barlow ended up having it.
The truth soon came out though which led to Daniel almost being disowned and Max falling out with David.
Due to almost going to prison, Max decided to try and run away but on the way needed to get his phone from the barbers, Trim Up North.
But this led to him being caught due to having to smash the glass.
He managed to get his phone but cut his leg on the way out, meaning he collapsed on the street until Jacob Hay came and rescued him.
Things are now going from bad to worse as Max has now been expelled from school and sent to a Pupil Referral Unit for a year.
Recently Max started to take an interested in newcomer Sonya who he has been hanging around with.
The pair appeared to be messaging and arranging to meet up, but it hasn't ended up like this.
Max is in for a hard time as the person he has been messaging turns out not to be Sonya at all, but someone pretending to be her.
The person posing as Sonya tricks Max into sending a naked photo of himself which the messenger then uses to try and get Max to give them £1,000 or they threaten to make it go viral.
Speaking to the Mirror about his latest storyline, Paddy said: "I think it was very important to me to be very focused and to get it very right because this genuinely affects so many people. I even know tens of people this has happened to at a very young age and it really does happen.
"What could make someone more vulnerable than a photo of that? I don't know. I think it's a turning point, I really do."
