Coronation Street actress Kimberly Hart-Simpson, who plays Nicky Wheatley in the soap, has opened up about her life away from the show.

The actress delighted fans earlier this year as she returned to Weatherfield, having first appeared in the soap in June 2020.

The storyline followed Nicky as she met the recently widowed Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) but left four months later to start a new life with her daughter.
