While another resident is desperate to clear their name from behind bars, but will their close friends be able to discover the truth?

Here's what's coming up on Corrie next week...

Stu 'framed' for murder of young woman as Zeedan discovers evidence

Viewers were left horrified after it was revealed that Stu Carpenter was convicted of the murder of a young woman - but it looks increasingly likely that he is the victim of a devastating miscarriage of justice.

Next week on the ITV soap, Zeedan does some digging into Stu's past as he notices that something isn't right. It comes after Stu is arrested for trespassing after he tries desperately explain his past to Yasmeen.

Speaking to Craig, Zeedan discovers that the detective Stu accused of persecution took early retirement for a suspicious reason and goes on to ask Craig to find out more. But later, when Yasmeen and Zeeday receive letters from Stu as he begs them to visit him in prison, Yasmeen rips them up and bins them.

On Wednesday, Craig reveals that Stu could be released in a couple of days and Yasmeen later delivers a speech about domestic abuse to the fundraiser guests. However, she ends up feeling panicky and later, Roy finds Yasmeen having a panic attack and struggling to breathe.

Elsewhere, Zeedan is waiting for Stu in the prison visiting room and Stu tells him about his case files and explains how he plans to prove his innocence. Zeedan later calls in at the solicitors' and asks Adam if he can request Stu's case files.

Unaware of what Zeedan has been up to, Yasmeen is left reeling when Adam confirms that he's requested Stu's old case files. She goes on confront her grandson, but the phone rings with Stu on the other end. He begs he pass the phone onto Yasmeen, but she kills the call.

At the end of the week, Adam tells Zeedan that he can access Stu's case files but that it will cost £1,200. He tries to put pressure on Alya to help him do right by Stu and go halves on his legal fees.

She eventually agrees and they hand Adam the money, confirming that they would like to see the files. What will they find out?

Faye cheats on Craig after he gifts her 'humiliating' present

Faye Windass will find herself straying away from partner Craig Tinker as she struggles with her early menopause symptoms.

Viewers have watched Faye turn to so-called natural remedies - such as yoga and clean eating - rather than HRT (hormone replacement therapy) to help with her symptoms. But while Craig does his best to make her feel happier, his attempts only make her feel more miserable.

Next week, Craig is worried about Faye and asks Carla to not put her under any pressure at work. However, Faye is fuming and she tears a strip out of him for humiliating her in front of her boss.

Craig is left feeling guilty and apologises for doing her head in, but decides upon the wrong gift for her. When he gives her a special nightie designed to keep her cool at night and improve her sleep, she is left distraught.

He then asks whether he should move back to his mum and she replies that she should do what he wants, prompting him to go and pack.

On Wednesday, Faye is gutted as she watches Craig and Jess having fun at their community engagement stall and is hurt to realise that he is enjoying himself. As Carla congratulates all of the factory workers for getting their order out in time, she cracks open the champagne.

Meanwhile, feeling downtrodden, Faye makes a pass at Michale in the Rovers backyard. How will he react?

Summer discovers boyfriend Aaron's heartbreaking secret

Fans have been suspicious of Summer Spellman's boyfriend ever since he first appeared on the cobbles - but his secret turns out to be nothing short of heartbreaking.

Next week, Summer turns up at the garage and finds her boyfriend is nursing a fat lip, but he quickly hurries away.

When she manages to catch up with him, Summer quizzes him again about his injury but he ends up snapping at her.

He later apologises to Summer and reveals that his dad is the one causing his injuries, explaining that he is an alcoholic who can sometimes lash out.

At the end of the week, the couple get ready to go on holiday, but Summer is left devastated when she gets A*s in French and Maths but an X in English after being disqualified.

When Aaron goes to collect Summer to head off on holiday, she ends up collapsing, leaving him in a complete and utter panic.

Summer eventually regains consciousness and admits that she forgot to take her insulin.

After heading back from the tram station, they tell Todd that they missed their flight and go to the flower shop flat.

But Aaron is shocked with what he finds when he rummages through Summer's bag...

Audrey makes devastating suicide confession during birthday tea

Audrey Roberts will tell her friends that she tried to kill herself in a heartbreaking confession during a surprise afternoon tea thrown by her closest friends.

Heartbroken Coronation Street viewers watched last month as Audrey (Sue Nicholls) collapsed and was rushed to hospital after taking too many sleeping pills. During a follow-up appointment with Dr Gaddas this week, Audrey insists that she just miscalculated her pills and that she doesn't need therapy. However, the doctor suggests a course of antidepressants instead.

Yet next week, over a surprise afternoon tea with her closest friends, Audrey admits what really happened. Her son Stephen had confided in Rita (Barbara Knox) over his concern for his mum and the pair had arranged a posh afternoon tea to cheer Audrey up at Debbie's hotel.

Having sat down for the tea, Audrey's attention is drawn to the arrival of Claudia (Rula Lenska) and Charles (Michael Elwyn) in the hotel dining room as the pair bicker. Ken (William Roach), Audrey and Rita can't help but eavesdrop on the row and - when they're spotted - go to comfort an upset Claudia.

Rita recalls that it was Audrey's birthday recently and a cake is brought out by a waiter, but just as they're about to sing Happy Birthday, Audrey suddenly announces that she tried to kill herself. Her friends are shocked and devastated by her admission.

Later in the week, Audrey calls at No. 8 and reveals that she's planning to give the salon a complete makeover, with no expense spared. Stephen tells Ken and Rita about his mum's plans to reopen the salon and he realises that they know more than they are letting on.

When Stephen grills Audrey about what's going on, she lies and makes out that she just had a simple health scare. He then suggests that now would be a good time for her to sign the trust fund paperwork, but she insists that she's not in a rush.

What is Stephen up to? And has Audrey taken comfort in confiding in her close friends?

Stephen Reid's scam 'exposed' amid cruel embezzlement lies

Ever since Audrey's son Stephen arrived on Coronation Street, viewers have been left suspicious of exactly what he's up to.

And unfortunately, it looks as though their fears might be founded as his actions become questionable, despite his mum's current struggle. After expressing concern to Rita about Audrey, they organise a surprise afternoon tea.

But it appears that Stephen might be having some trouble with his finances as his card is declined after receiving a call from the hotel about the deposit for the afternoon tea. Shona and Sarah are left amused when he tells down the phone at his Italian bank, before he secretly goes to pay with a card in the name of Mrs Gabrielle Reid.

Next week on the ITV soap, Audrey confides in her friends about her sleeping pill overdose, admitting that she tried to kill herself. She is comforted by Ken, Rita, Claudia and Roy as they all gather around her.

The next day, Audrey calls round at No 8 and reveals that she is planning to give the salon a full makeover, with no expense spared. When Stephen informs Ken and Rita about Audrey's plans, it appears that they know more than they are letting on.

He later grills Audrey and she lies, claiming she had a minor health scare, while he suggests that now would be a good time for her to sign the trust fund paperwork. However, Audrey insists that she's in no rush.

On Friday, Michael suggests that the Underworld website needs updating but when Sarah says that she'll give Lorenzo a call, Stephen suggests he can do the work himself with Max's help.

Sarah ends up calling Lorenzo anyway and discovers that he's owed six months' wages, but Stephen lies and says that he withheld the wages because he caught him embezzling money from the company.

When Max and Stephen show Sarah the website, she's impressed. But what is Stephen up to? And why is he so insistent that Audrey sign the trust fund paperwork?
