There are health fears and an affair close to being 'rumbled' on Coronation Street next week. It's no secret to viewers of the ITV soap that Sarah Barlow is playing with fire as she secretly flirts up a storm with Damon Hay behind her husband Adam's back.
Sarah has ended up in a web of lies after finding chemistry with drug dealer Damon who has been making life a misery for her own brother on the cobbles. But despite being his brother-in-law, Adam took on Damon's case after he was caught running a drugs operation out of the Bistro.
Not knowing who he was, despite the torment he was causing her family, Sarah and Damon met weeks ago in a hotel bar, But Sarah, played by Tina O’Brien, and Damon, played by Ciaran Griffiths, have continued to flirt wildly with Damon saying he was determined to bed her.

And in scenes aired last month, viewers watched in shock as Sarah and Damon did sleep together. Afterwards, a guilty Sarah told Damon they needed to end their relationship, especially because he looked set to go to prison. But there was a twist as Adam and colleague Dee-Dee Bailey found a way to keep him from behind bars.
The legal whiz also ended up finding out about Sarah and Damon but that still doesn't appear to have stopped Sarah as next week she goes behind her husband's back once more, despite deciding they should try for a baby of their own.
In scenes to air next week - on Monday May 8 - after overhearing Dee-Dee and Beth Sutherland gossiping about Damon’s black eye, Sarah calls at the bistro to find Damon there alone. When he leans in and kisses her, Sarah kisses him back and they head into the office, locking the door behind them. But will they be caught in the act?
On Wednesday, May 10, Daisy Midgeley will be seen comforting Ryan Connor who has begun to feel ill. The DJ-turned-barman has been struggling to come to terms to what has happened to him after being the victim of a horrifying acid attack.
Ryan was left with burns to his face and arm after he stepped in and took the brunt of the acid hurled at ex Daisy by her stalker Justin Rutherford on her wedding day. He suffered a blow when he looked at his injuries for the first time in the ITV soap and was told by the surgeon that he was not healing as they had hoped and he needed a skin graft.
Ryan was also crushed when his ex girlfriend Alya Nazir told him that she only wanted to be friends. In order to give him a boost Daisy invited Ryan's Ibiza club promoter friend Crystal to see him, but she later told Daisy that she no longer had a job in the offing for him, and wasn't interested in him romantically either.
Feeling more guilty than she did before, Daisy has since been messaging Ryan pretending to be Crystal. Next week on the street, Daisy's fiance Daniel Osbourne feels a pang of jealousy when she calls over to see Ryan. Meanwhile Ryan is disappointed when she tells him she’s meeting Daniel for lunch.
Alone in the flat, Ryan’s overcome by a wave of pain and instinctively he calls Crystal. In the Rovers, Daisy ignores the call but when her phone rings again, Daniel urges her to call Ryan back. Daisy texts Ryan pretending to be Crystal.
Daisy calls on Ryan and is concerned when Ryan says he is going to give Crystal a call. Later, when Ryan calls, Daisy adopts her Crystal voice and in a bid to put him off her, rudely makes out she prefers country music to club tunes but her plan backfires when Ryan leaves a voice message for Crystal telling her that he’s going to book a ticket and come out to Ibiza to see her.
Daisy calls at the flat but when she advises him against flying to Ibiza, Ryan wonders how she knew he was considering it. He soon realises that Daisy knows about his Ibiza dreams that he told Crystal. Has she been caught out as the cat fish?
Elsewhere on the street, Amy Barlow feels sick when she spots Aaron Sandford kissing a girl in Victoria Garden and Summer realises it was his ex Mia.
Aaron's father Eric tells him that they could go travelling and his boss Abi Webster is secretly pleased to think Aaron will be leaving.
But, in scenes on Friday, May 12, Mia shows Aaron the message she received from Amy warning her that he's bad news and asking her to meet. Aaron says it will be Summer who has sent it to try and cover his back. Mia’s uneasy as Amy begins her fight back.
