Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis had told who has acted like a 'mother hen' to her since joining the cast. The actress is best known for playing Sinead O'Connor in Hollyoaks but she'll soon be making her debut on the cobbles.
Stephanie has swapped Chester for Weatherfield after bagging the role of Courtney Vance in the ITV soap as part of a sizzling summer storyline. She'll arrive on screens later this month as Courtney, the glamorous wife of Darren, one of Dev Alahan's new business associates.
And while he works with Dev on his business empire, Courtney begins to pursue a steamy fling with Dev's teen son Aadi Alahan. Speaking in her first interview since bagging her new role, Stephanie told the Manchester Evening News and other press: "It's amazing. It's a dream come true!"

Having already filmed her first scenes, asked how it's gone so far, she added: "I'm loving it. Everyone's been so welcoming and I've settled in straight away. Amazing place, amazing people."
The 30-year-old was also asked how has been helping her to settle into her first telly job in three years and she wasn't short of praise for her new colleagues. "I literally could mention the whole cast because everyone has been so nice," she told us. "I've been working with Jimmi Harkishin who plays Dev, who is just amazing and such a special person.
"There's also Elle Mulvaney who plays Amy Barlow and Adam Hussain who plays Aadi. Helen Worth who plays Gail has been so lovely – she's been like a mother hen to me, settling me in.
"Obviously Jodie Prenger who plays Glenda was on a show similar to me – I did Over The Rainbow and she did the Nancy one, so we've always known each other. She was made up when she saw me and gave me a big hug. We were reminiscing and it was really lovely to see her.
"Alison King who plays Carla has been so lovely to me. Bill Roache [Ken Barlow] has been really friendly and lovely. The other day I got to see Claire Sweeney [who joined the soap last month as Cassie Plummer], so it was amazing to see her as well."
Stephanie was also quizzed on whether any of her former co-stars from Channel 4's Hollyoaks had been in touch to congratulate her on her new gig. "Yes. Ross Adams [who plays Scott in Hollyoaks] is one of my best friends," the mum-of-one said. "He actually used to write for Coronation Street so he knows everyone on Coronation Street as well. We spoke on the phone and he sang the Corrie theme tune on the phone to me on a voice note and he was just over the moon for me!
"I had a lot of people comment on my Instagram. I got inundated with messages from people. Also, a lot of the crew from Hollyoaks are at Coronation Street. So it's been like home away from home."
