Coronation Street actor Alex Bain has given an update on an injury from hospital.
The ITV soap star shared pictures of him sat in a wheelchair as he attended Blackburn Hospital A&E department two weeks ago before he jetted off on holiday. He later showed his ankle being supported by a medical boot.
Now, he has given his 21,000 Instagram followers an update on his injury as he revealed that his foot is still strapped up. Posting from the fracture clinic, he showed his foot still in the boot.

Alex assured fans that he would keep them updated as he said: "Update on the ankle: I'm at the fracture clinic having a check up and X Ray to see how it is doing! I will keep you all updated!"
He later thanked fans as he told them how his hospital visits are not over yet and he needs to return in four weeks. Alex wrote: "Quick update again! I have to go back in four weeks time to have it checked again, however they're pleased with the progress so all is well with me!
"Should be healed soon enough guys! Thanks for all your love and support!" He then opened up his messages for questions and answers as he added: "If anyone has any questions for me then ask away below."
The 20-year-old, who has played Simon Barlow since he was a child, flew from Manchester Airport as he went on holiday last week. He wrote: "Got a fancy new set of wheels! Thank you to the helpful people at Manchester Airport." He shared more Instagram stories that showed he had arrived in Frankfurt, after writing: "Bon voyage Great Britain! I will miss you!"
