Young Coronation Street star Jude Riordan had a message of support for a family member as they joined the ITV soap.
It seems the 11-year-old soap star isn't the only talented member of his family, as he posted to let fans know that his dad, Paul Riordan, had also landed a job on set. But rather than being on screen, his dad has been working behind the lens as he took on the role of directing.
During Monday's episode Jude, who is best known for playing Sam Blakeman, shared an image of him hugging his dad to Twitter. He captioned the post: "My Dad's Corrie Eps this week @paul_rio #corrie."

Paul has directed a number of Coronation Street episodes since 2021. He studied Media Professional Studies at Liverpool John Moores University and has also worked extensively on Hollyoaks as well as Emmerdale and Casualty.
Jude actually got to work with his dad for the first time in summer of last year. He looked proud as punch as he posed for a snap alongside Paul and former Casualty actor Michael Stevenson.
He wrote: "And that's a WRAP on my first short film Something Missing. I can't wait to see this finished film! 4 long days to get it all in. Had the best time with the best team!
"First project w my Dad @paulrio27 and first project w @michaeltstevenson ... Would I do another YES."
He went on to explain: "This is a story very close to our hearts. A young carer Sean looking after his Mum Suzanne with early onset Dementia a story that is life for many young carers and needs to be told."
Jude, who hails from St Helens, ended his post: "Proud to be ambassador for St Helens Young Carers @sth.yc and hopefully we will raise awareness of how important their roles are and how important it is to get the care and support. I can't wait for you all to see it."
