Scott went on: "Brooke Vincent started acting in Coronation Street at the age of 11. She tells me about how being a child actor affected her childhood, and how it’s still impacting her life today.

"I also hear about Brooke’s new life as a mum to two young boys and a fiancé to Kean Bryan. Brooks shares how she’s had to re-prioritise her life and find out the things that are the most important to her. 'Learning As I Go' is proudly sponsored by @brittri."

In the clip, Brooke could be heard talking about being given one of her biggest soap storylines which saw Sophie come out as gay before almost marrying her best friend and first girlfriend Sian Powers, played by Sacha Parkinson. "I got a huge storyline at the age of 16 of my character coming out, being a lesbian, and that was a huge, huge thing where you didn't want to get that wrong."

The mum-of-two also appears to talk about social media and the pressures faced for people to look a certain way as she says: "Through social media, I look at these girls who are absolutely stunning and I think, well, if I had work done like they had work done, then I could look like that. But I don't care enough to go and have work done."

The mum-of-two-, from Audenshaw, then added: "I read things because I'm not having whoever's put that on think they're having a last laugh at me. How you look is not the be-all and end-all."

She also speaks about her relationship with her fiance Kean Bryan, saying her "life changed" when she met the footballer and that she was "happy". Brooke, 30, added: "We used to meet on Asda car park so no one could see us."
