Young Coronation Street star Isabella Flanagan has opened up about life in the home with her fellow soap star siblings. Fans of Corrie will recognise her as the actress playing Hope Stape,a troublesome character who is the daughter of Fizz and her serial killer ex partner, John.
However, Isabella, who was born in Leeds, is not the only soap actor in the family. Some people may already know that her twin brother William plays Joseph Brown in the long-running soap and their older sister, Amelia, is known for playing Windsor in rival show Emmerdale, since 2014.
The trio are regularly applauded for their character portrayals but it's Amelia and Isabella who will be going head-to-head at this year's Inside Soap Awards. The pair are both up for the Best Young Performer award against Amelia's Emmerdale co-star Gabrielle Dowling, who plays Cathy Hope, as well as Isabella's Corrie co-star Jude Riordan, who plays Sam Blakeman, The Manchester Evening News reports.

When Isabella was quizzed on how she felt about competing against her sibling she said it felt "really good" as it is the first award nomination she has ever received. She told Inside Soap I always felt left out as my sister has won so many awards," she revealed. "So it's nice to finally be nominated."
"But we always support each other and run lines together. We have a really great bond," she added. However, she did admit that during awards season, the debates between the siblings at home can get quite "heated".
"There are so many debates at home whenever there are awards ceremonies," she told the publication. "Me and my brother are Team Corrie and my sister is obviously team Emmerdale, so it does get a bit heated sometimes!"
Last month, Amelia told Inside Soap that while she's "Team Emmerdale" and her siblings are "Team Corrie", it is "never competitive". She sweetly added: "I’ve run lines with Bella where she’s played Hope and I’ve pretended to be a character from Coronation Street, and she’s done the same with me, so it’s fun!"
And talking about the nomination Amelia sweetly said she hopes her sister wins: "It’s surreal that all three of us have ended up in soaps," she commented. "I’m up against Bella for an award for the first time, and as much as I’d love to win, I really hope my sister gets it!"
Back in May April made her way onto the cobbles as she joined her younger siblings during a family day on the famous set. Taking to Instagram at the time, Corrie star Jude shared a snap of himself alongside the soap star siblings. The foursome looked casual and worlds away from their on-screen personas as they posed outside the iconic Rovers Return.
"Great day at the Corrie Cast & Crew fun day," Jude shared alongside the post. "Good catching up with Team Flanagan," he sweetly added. And fans were soon flooding the post with comments, particularly compliments for the young actors.
