Imran Habeeb and Toyah Battersby will be left fighting for their life on Coronation Street next week.
The couple have been happier than ever since they got married and managed to secure custody of baby Alfie - who Abi and Imran had after a one night stand - but Imran is harbouring a dark secret about Abi's drug use.
Initially, Toyah struggled to cope when she found out Imran and Abi had slept together and had the baby, but slowly she took on motherly duties for the little one and things seem on an even keel for the newly-married couple.
However, next week, things go pear shaped as the custody battle continues to intensify and both Abi and Imran are feeling the heat.
Abi lost custody of her son after she was accused of being back on drugs, something Imran lied about, and in a determination to have her name cleared, Abi wants to prove that Imran bribed Ben to lie in court about her drug taking.
She isn't sure she'll be able to sort it best this way and so decides to run away with Alfie and escape abroad.
Things are also heating up for Imran too, and when Kelly confronts him and tells him how he is behaving is wrong, he seems to take issue with it and realise the error of his ways - vowing to tell the truth.
He decides to tell the court - and Toyah - the truth, but with Kevin and Abi trying to uncover the truth, will it all be too late?
The week starts with an incredible flashforward as Imran leaves a message for Toyah as he makes a string of confessions. There is also a horror car crash, which leave both Toyah and Imran lying unconscious in the wreckage.
As Kevin and Abi are quizzed over the crash - with police convinced it wasn't an accident - where does this leave Alfie? Will he end up with his mum or his dad?
Will both of them make it out of the wreckage OK? And if they do survive, will Toyah find out what Imran has done and will she forgive him for what he's done?
*Coronation Street airs every weekday next week at 7.30pm on ITV.
