Corrie star Isabella Flanagan has lifted the lid on life at home with her famous siblings.
The actress, who plays Hope Stape on the ITV soap, has opened up about the reality of living with her twin brother and older sister who are also soap stars, as she admits she can feel 'left out' at times when it comes to awards and accolades.
Isabella has appeared on the cobbles playing John Stape's daughter since August 2017, while her twin brother William took on the role of Joseph Brown, Hope's cousin, in October of the same year.
Their big sister Amelia, 14, is also no stranger to the small screen and is a soap star just like the Corrie twins, having appeared on rival ITV Emmerdale since 2014 thanks to her role as April Windsor.
Amelia and Isabella will be going head-to-head later this year, as the sisters are both nominated for Best Young Performer at the Inside Soap Awards thanks to their impressive performances respectively on the two ITV soaps.
Also amongst the list of nominated young stars is Emmerdale’s Gabrielle Dowling, who plays Cathy Hope, and Isabella's co-star Jude Riordan, who plays Sam Blakeman on Coronation Street.
Chatting to Inside Soap about her life at home with her siblings and her nomination, Isabella admits: "I always felt left out as my sister has won so many awards. So it’s nice to finally be nominated."
She goes on to add how the three soap stars have plenty of 'heated' conversations, explaining: "There are so many debates at home whenever there are awards ceremonies.
"Me and my brother are Team Corrie and my sister is obviously team Emmerdale, so it does get a bit heated sometimes!"
She goes on to explain how the trio all support each other, often helping each other rehearse their lines, and the three siblings all have a "really great bond".
Eldest of the three soap stars Amelia adds how the three actors are never really competitive with one another, and explains how she will often pretend to be a Corrie character in order to help her twin siblings run through their lines ahead of filming, and vice versa.
The Emmerdale star also reveals how despite being nominated in the same category as her sister, she is hoping Isabella is the one to take home the coveted award later this month.
"I’m up against Bella for an award for the first time, and as much as I’d love to win, I really hope my sister gets it," Amelia confesses to the publication when discussing the upcoming awards show.
Amelia is no stranger to winning accolades and awards, having picked up a few honours since first appearing in the Yorkshire soap as April, Donna and Marlon Dingle's young daughter.
In 2014, the young actress won Best Young Actor at the Inside Soap Awards and went on to take home the prize again the following year, in addition to also winning The British Soap Award for Best Young Performance.
