Helen Flanagan has been supported by fans as she issued a heartbreaking family announcement.
The former Coronation Street star shot to stardom for her portrayal of Rosie Webster on the Cobbles. She exited Weatherfield in 2012 before she returned for a brief storyline from 2017 - 2018.
Helen regularly posts updates on Instagram from her happy family life where she shares three children with footballer Scott Sinclair. However, the 31-year-old has taken to the social media platform today to share the sad news her nan has died.

She said: My Nanna passed away this week. I loved and love my Nanna so much. She was an amazing lady and I am proud to be Nancy’s granddaughter.
She continued: "I am so grateful for the precious times we shared and that my Nanna got to see all three of my beautiful children that my Nanna loved so much and gave her so much joy. I have the best childhood memories, holiday memories and memories with my babies with my Nanna that I am so grateful for.
"I wish I could see and give her one last cuddle and tell her how much I loved her but I think she knew."
Helen's celebrity followers rushed to the comments to offer their condolences following the sad news.
