Toyah Habeeb has been thrust into the centre of a dramatic storyline that has seen her confessing to being responsible for her husband Imran's death.
The cobbles character, played by Georgia Taylor, has been riddled with anxiety in recent weeks as she awaits her impending murder trial.
Earlier this year, Imran saved his wife's life just weeks after they said 'I Do' after they became trapped in their car after it ploughed into a scaffolding-clad building. But as Toyah was bundled into an ambulance, it was Imran who collapsed and died at the scene from a cardiac arrest.

The couple had faced a difficult time before their marriage after it was revealed that Imran was the father of Abi Webster's baby Alfie. Imran admitted to Toyah that he had lied it court about Abi's drug taking in order to gain custody of his son, moments before the fatal car crash.
In scenes that aired on Wednesday, Corrie fans watched as Toyah was able to spend some time with Alfie for the first time in months. As she sat with Alfie in Victoria Garden, Toyah was in tears as she told the baby she was sorry for taking his dad away, the MEN reports.
Prior to her confession, Corrie viewers saw a moment between Toyah and Kelly Neelan. The pair seemingly fell out shortly after the crash when Kelly, played by Millie Gibson, questioned whether it was an accident or if she was responsible.
Millie has announced she is to bow out from the ITV soap this month. Taking to Instagram after Wednesday's episode aired, she shared a selfie of herself and Georgia on Instagram. They could be seen keeping warm in their big red ITV branded puffer jackets, huddled close together in Victoria garden.
The teen actress said: "Last scene with my love aired tonight... @realgeorgiataylor," alongside a tearful face and heart emojis. Georgia, who has spent decades playing Toyah in the soap, was quick to reshare the post and replied: "Love you @milliegibbo."
