Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan has had her say on whether Daisy Midgeley should stick with fiance Danial Osbourne or fall into the arms of Ryan Connor.
Daisy has found herself being drawn closer to Ryan amid their shared trauma following the horrifying acid attack earlier this year. Last month in the ITV soap, the pair stood in court as Justin Rutherford tried to lie his way out of punishment for his heinous crime.
But justice prevailed and the jury saw through the stalker's dishonesty and after he was found guilty of inflicting the life-changing injuries on Ryan after he unknowingly stepped in front of the bride-to-be as he hurled acid in her direction, Ryan and Daisy cemented their relief with a kiss.

But unbeknownst to Ryan, it is Daisy who had been pretending to be former love interest and Ibiza club promoter Crystal. The barmaid's plan to keep Ryan talking came to a halt last week after Daisy's stalker Justin Rutherford was found guilty of the previously mentioned life-changing attack.
After Daisy stopped messaging Ryan as Crystal, he was left concerned and feared something was wrong - only to make a worrying discovery. He revealed to Carla that a message online confirmed Crystal was in a coma after an accident. But as he rushed to gather more information, he began receiving new messages from 'Crystal' and he devastatingly realised he was being catfished.
And next week, after sharing another kiss, Ryan's lust turns to anger as when a brooding Ryan has a chat with Max, he reveals he's realised that Daisy was the catfisher pretending to be Crystal leaving Daisy desperately trying to explain how after the attack Crystal made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with him and she was only trying to protect his feelings.
But bubbling with rage, Ryan throws her out. As Daisy tries again to plead her case, insisting her intentions were honourable, Ryan’s scathing and asserting that it’s time Daniel knew about their kisses, heads out leaving Daisy horrified.
In a new interview, when asked if she is surprised Daisy is betraying Daniel with Ryan, actress Charlotte admitted: "I think even the audience will see this coming and I am not surprised about this turn of events but I think Daisy is surprised.
"When Daisy decided to take on the role as Ryan’s protector and carer and confidant, she had no romantic intentions. She was not there just to support him through something and be a really good friend but before she knows it, she’s got these feelings that she doesn’t want and doesn’t know how to deal with."
She was also quizzed on whether she thinks a relationship between Daisy and Ryan is a good idea, Charlotte dithered: "I don’t know!" She went on: "Because it stems from so much trauma, I don’t know how healthy it is so I am not sure on that one."
But when asked who she's better suited to, Charlotte replied: "Daisy does have a lot in common with Ryan, like similar interests, so if it was a genuine thing that didn't stem from trauma then it could be something quite good. But at the end of the day, that’s not what happens so I think she would be better with Daniel in the long term."
Charlotte has been winning praise for her portrayal of Daisy in recent months and earlier this month picked up the award for Best Dramatic Performance for her role in the soap. And a delighted Charlotte was also back on stage with her co-stars to collect both the Scene of The Year award and Best Single Episode for the dramatic acid attack in the soap.
But there is something that had 'disappointed' her about the storyline. "Yes I was because that wedding was like her baby and she was so into it," Charlotte said when asked if she was disappointed Daisy never got her dream wedding day.
"She just wanted this big, flashy display of love and her and Daniel were going to be together forever. So yes I am sad that she never got that and it was so grotesquely taken from her by someone so vile and entitled. Hopefully, Daisy and Daniel can find their way back to each other after all this mess and maybe have another crack at it."
