Coronation Street's Peter Barlow has been caught up in some of the most scandalous story-lines over the years.
Played by Chris Gascoyne since 2000, the character has had five wives - two of them at the same time.
Worlds apart from his alter ego, Chris has a very happy marriage to his wife, who some soap fans may recognise.

He tied the knot with actress Caroline Harding in 2002, and they have one daughter together, Belle, 18, the Manchester Evening News reports.
Caroline has played multiple roles in ITV's Emmerdale, including Dr Garrett in 2013, and has also had stints in Weatherfield.
Most recently, the actress played Dr Howarth, who treated little Oliver Battersby, and told the court of how it would be an act of kindness to switch off his life support.
Chris is also step-dad to Caroline's two children from a previous marriage with Line of Duty actor Jason Watkins - with Pip, 22, and Freddie, 24.
They moved to Manchester when Chris became the seventh actor to play Peter.
With his long Corrie career seeing him give many emotional performances, Chris has previously opened up on relating to his portrayal of Peter.
He confessed to using drink as a crutch to overcome problems in his life and in 2008, he was banned from driving for a year and fined £500 for drunk driving in Llandudno, North Wales.
Two years later in an interview with the Mirror, Chris explained there was an excessive drinking culture during his younger years.
He said: "When I was younger I used to drink an awful lot. I think you get seduced by it when you're a young actor.
"You're surrounded by a drinking culture and it's almost a romantic thing. Everywhere you go it's there.
"I still like a night out, but it had gone past that to a pointless place where I was looking always to seek oblivion in it. You come home and you're hungover and you get drinker's guilt.
"You feel depressed and ill and wonder what you've said to people.
"Then you vow never to do it again, until it gets to opening time and then you think you'll have a drink and those feelings stop.
"It went on for a good 10 years, but after a while, I realised I was drinking for reasons that were no longer social.
"It was no longer purely about having a good time.
"I was never an alcoholic, but a lot of us have problems with alcohol - anything that affects your life or your judgement is a problem."
