Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan has shared her personal decision as viewers saw her character Daisy Midgeley kiss Ryan Connor for a second time as she comforted him amid his struggle with his recent injuries and being catfished.
The pair have previously kissed amid their shared trauma following the horrifying acid attack aired on the ITV soap earlier this year. But unbeknownst to Ryan, it was Daisy who had been pretending to be his former love interest and Ibiza club promoter Crystal.
The barmaid's plan to keep Ryan talking came to a halt last week after Daisy's stalker Justin Rutherford was found guilty of the previously mentioned life-changing attack. After Daisy stopped messaging Ryan as Crystal, he was left concerned and feared something was wrong.

But as he looked for updates on her social media pages, Ryan, played by Ryan Prescott, revealed to Carla Connor that a message online confirmed Crystal was in a coma after an accident. But as he panicked, he began receiving new messages from 'Crystal' and he devastatingly realised he was being catfished.
While Daisy, and her fiance Daniel Osbourne, have continued to lie about what they know about the messages, Daisy has kept a slightly awkward distance away from her pal but after some encouragement from Daniel, and feeling sorry for an isolated Ryan, Daisy headed to visit him and the pair watched TV together.
But before long, Daisy and Ryan started opening up about their feelings. While Daisy apologised for kissing Ryan when he was vulnerable, Ryan admitted that he missed her and wanted to kiss her again and it wasn't long before they were locking lips but were interrupted when Carla returned home and the jittery pair claimed they had just been watching TV.
Before Daisy was seen cheating on Daniel for a second time, actress Charlotte revealed that she will be avoiding social media due to her character’s behaviour as it gets quite the reaction from Corrie fans.
She explained: "Yeah, I think there might be some trouble up ahead." Speaking to Daily Star, she added: "I think I'm going to steer clear of social media because people are going to come for her, but it’s not my fault, they make me do it."
And things don't look like they're going to get any better for Daisy as at the end of Monday night's trip to the cobbles (June 19), Ryan learned from Max Turner that he was previously given Daisy's spare phone on which he heard his message and altered help to him being unwell.
The penny then dropped for Ryan, realising Daisy was the one impersonating Crystal leaving him humiliated and spoilers for this week show that a raging Ryan will soon be confronting Daisy.
