Coronation Street's Charlotte Jordan looks gorgeous as she ditches UK for time in the sun after 'spooky' realisation

Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan couldn't have looked further away from her alter-ego's life on the cobbles as she soaked up the sun. The actress, who plays Daisy Migeley in the ITV soap, has ditched Manchester for more exotic climes this week.

Taking to Instagram earlier this week, Charlotte posted a snap of herself posing outside under the clear blue, cloud-free skies as she appeared to catch a glimpse of the golden hour sun.

The soap star, who joined Corrie as Jenny Connor's former step-daughter in November 2020, looked gorgeous as she sported a black crop top and matching trousers. She accessorised with a thin gold chain and gold bangle and mentioned her choice of hairstyle in the caption.

Charlotte looked worlds away from Corrie character Daisy (Charlotte Jordan Instagram)

It comes as Charlotte has been winning praise for her portrayal of Daisy in Coronation Street. Earlier this year, the character was seen desperately trying to get help from the police over her stalker Justine Rutherford who made her life hell as she prepared to marry Daniel Osbourne.

And when her wedding day arrived, things went bad to worse when Justine unleashed a horrifying acid attack. But it was Ryan Connor who was left with burns to his face and arm after he stepped in and took the brunt of the acid hurled at ex-Daisy by Justin. In shocking scenes aired on the ITV soap in March, Daisy lept into action and dragged Ryan upstairs and into the shower as she called for help.

Ryan was rushed to the hospital where he later suffered a blow when he looked at his injuries for the first time and was told by the surgeon that he was not healing as well as they had hoped and he needed a skin graft. He initially refused and did a runner from the hospital but with Daisy and Carla Connor's support, he returned to undergo the procedure.

However, the character has since suffered another setback and is currently back in hospital after falling seriously ill and later told he had contracted sepsis. And amongst all this, Ryan is completely unaware that Daisy is the one he is speaking to when he messages 'Crystal'.

In previous scenes, in an attempt to give him a boost, Daisy invited Ryan's Ibiza club promoter friend Crystal to see him, but she later told Daisy that she no longer had a job in the offing for him, and wasn't interested in him romantically either. Already feeling guilty over the attack, viewers have since seen Daisy has since been messaging Ryan pretending to be Crystal.

Speaking about the storyline earlier this month, Charlotte made a 'spooky' observation about her current storyline having previously played a victim of an acid attack in The Bill in 2007 when she first started out. "It’s really spooky because it isn’t something that you see on television a lot and that was my first TV job," she said. "So it’s really strange that things have come full circle!"
