Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank said there is a big storyline in the pipework for his character, Billy Mayhew.
The plot will apparently run for the next year to 18 months with the possibility it could continue for even longer. Discussing the part with the Mirror, Daniel said: "We're just at the beginning now of a rather big storyline for Billy, so I am looking forward to the next 12-18 months."
Teasing the storyline could involve his ex's Todd Grimshaw and Paul Foreman, he added: "Well, maybe you’ll be pleased, maybe you won’t. I don't know I literally can't give anything away! I'm in my ninth year here now.

"I've never worked anywhere for longer than two years, ever. I've been doing this for a living for nearly 30 years, but this is by far the longest I have worked anywhere. I adore it here, I love it here.
"You can coast for a bit so obviously there are years where you are not in storylines, but it is always lovely when they give you something meaty or fun."
On if Billy could find himself killed off anytime soon, he added: "I hope not, I've got a mortgage!"
