Amy Barlow, played by Elle Mulvaney, is understandably struggling to cope after being raped by Aaron Sandford while passed out, but Coronation Street fans predict someone close to the student will get revenge on the sinister character.
Aaron has refused to accept responsibility for his actions and feels vindicated after being released without charge from the police.
In Wednesday's instalment, Summer was forced to call for an ambulance when she found Amy passed out drunk near Victoria Garden.
Amy was rushed to hospital where her parents Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow waited by her bedside before unwelcome visitor Aaron arrived.
Steve threatened to punch him but Amy told her parents she wanted a moment to speak with Aaron and once her family had left, she asked him to finally admit what he'd done.
"You can't bring yourself to say [the word ' rape '], but you have no problem doing it," Amy told him.
Aaron once again refused to listen leaving Steve and Tracy to comfort a heartbroken Amy.
Coronation Street fans were furious with the rapist for turning up at Amy's bedside and suggested he should be frightened of killer Tracy.
In 2007, Tracy was imprisoned for killing her boyfriend Charlie Stubbs and spent a lengthy spell in prison.
Some fans suspect the mum could return to her old ways as one tweeted: "Tracy’s getting soft in her old age. 10 years ago she’d have murdered him.. literally #corrie."
Another wrote: "#Corrie no one told Aaron that Tracy is a murderer? No," while a third said: "Aaron showing up at the hospital Wtaf he’s lucky Tracy doesn’t have him in a bed on the next ward #corrie."
"Aaron showing up at the hospital. Tracey should knock him out now she knows that Amy was telling the truth after all. Does Aaron know about Tracey's form with killing people? #Corrie," another added.
Someone else shared: "Hope Tracey luv has a blunt object in her handbag #Corrie," and another said: "He’s the stupidest character in the show at the moment - doesn’t he know Amy’s mother was in prison for murder? #Corrie."
