There were devastating scenes on Coronation Street tonight as Ryan Connor became a victim of Justin's horror acid attack on Daisy.
Justin has been targeting Daisy, becoming obsessed with her as soon as they met outside the doctors when Justin's mum was going through cancer treatment and the social media influencer was worried she might have cancer too.
His obsession soon turned to stalking and he has been telling people that Daisy is with him and doesn't want to tie the knot with Daniel Osborne. In terrifying scenes tonight, it was confirmed Justin targeted Daisy with acid on her wedding day - with horrifying ramifications for brave Ryan Connor, who ended up being hit with the liquid.
As Ryan and Daisy arrived back in the pub, they tried to kick the last person out - before realising it was Justin hiding in the shadows. "We've got a wedding to get to," Ryan said before Justin could be heard saying: "Lucky you."
The horror was clear on Daisy's face as she turned around to look at him. "You think everybody wants you because you're so perfect, aren't you? Nobody's going to want you after this," he said as he threw the acid.
Ryan stepped in the way and immediately screamed as the acid hit his face, holding his burning skin as Justin made a run for it and pushed Daisy onto the floor as he fled to the exit. Realising what happened, Daisy started screaming as she heard cries from Ryan.
The team at Coronation Street have worked alongside The Katie Piper Foundation and Acid Survivors Trust International (ASTI) for the storyline, with the soap's aim to highlight the devastating impact and long lasting effects of an attack like this.

Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy on the ITV soap, shared: "When I was first told about this storyline, I really didn’t see this coming. It’s not something you see a lot on television so I was really surprised. There is a fear lurking in the back of Daisy’s mind since Justin was released on bail. She has always been thinking, 'Will Justin retaliate in some way?'
"Seeing him again after he has been warned multiple times by officials to stay away from her, she is certainly scared of how he is going to react. I don’t think Daisy really thought about how obsessed Justin was going to become."
